By registering for or participating in the Ljubljana Game (the “Game”) you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not participate.
The Game is created and organized by Boris Upelj (the “Organizer”).
Participants must be at least 18 years of age, or be accompanied by and under the direct responsibility of a parent or legal guardian. By taking part you warrant that you meet these requirements and are medically fit for outdoor walking activities.
4.1 You understand that the Game involves outdoor activity in public spaces that may include uneven surfaces, traffic, adverse weather, and other hazards.
4.2 You voluntarily assume all risks, known or unknown, associated with participation, including personal injury, illness, or property loss/damage.
4.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive and hold harmless the Organizer, his agents and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions or causes of action arising out of or related to your participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
4.4 You agree to indemnify and defend the Organizer against any claims brought by third parties arising from your conduct.
5.1 You agree to comply with all applicable laws, traffic regulations, and posted signs, and to respect private property and public spaces.
5.2 You are responsible for monitoring your own physical condition—and that of any minors with you—and for exercising common sense; do not enter unsafe areas or perform unsafe actions to solve clues.
5.3 The Organizer may remove any participant who engages in illegal, unsafe, or disruptive behavior.
6.1 All Game materials (including emails, webpages, SMS, and geolocation data) are provided “as is” and “as available.”
6.2 The Organizer makes no guarantee that the Game, clues, website, or communications will be uninterrupted or error‑free.
6.3 The Organizer is not liable for any loss, damage, costs, or inconvenience arising from service interruptions, delays, data loss, or technical malfunctions, even if foreseeable.
7.1 Participation in the Game is free of charge. You may cancel at any time without penalty.
7.2 The Organizer reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the Game at any time for any reason, including safety concerns or technical issues. No compensation is payable in such circumstances.
8.1 The Organizer collects only the personal data you voluntarily supply (e.g., name, email, phone) to administer the Game and communicate with you.
8.2 Your data will not be sold or shared with third parties except as necessary to operate the Game or comply with law.
8.3 You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting the Organizer.
8.4 By providing a phone number or email address you consent to receiving communications related to the Game. Standard carrier charges may apply to SMS.
All Game content, including clues, text, and design, is owned by the Organizer and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.
The Organizer may update these Terms at any time. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent court in Ljubljana.
By participating in the Game you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
